Abstract

The invention discloses an image processing method which comprises inputting source portable network graphics (PNG) images, and acquiring red green blue (RGB) values of each pixel point from palette data of the source PNG images. According to the RGB values of each pixel point and a pixel size of a target image, the RGB values of each pixel point of the target image are calculated by a closest point interpolation method. According to the RGB values of each pixel point of the target image, the target image is drawn and displayed. The invention further discloses an image processing device. Target images with different sizes can be established according to different screen sizes, and therefore the same source PNG image can be displayed in screens with the different sizes. The image processing method and the image processing method device have the advantages of simplifying calculation and saving calculative resources of a user terminal.
