After the password is confirmed to be the same with the password which is saved in advance and corresponds to the account number, a convention code of a binding friend of the user can be acquired according to the account number of the user. Whether the first binding information is matched with the convention code of the binding friend is judged. When the first binding information is matched with the convention code of the binding friend, a login response can be sent to the terminal. The login response is carried with an account number of the binding friend. When the binding information of the server is matched with the convention code of the binding friend, the account number of the binding friend can be issued to the terminal. Therefore, when the user logs in the server under different conditions, different account information can be acquired without extra operations so that instant communication experience of the user can be improved.
