Abstract

The invention discloses a system and a method for monitoring and managing the status of multi-server. The aim of unitively managing server clusters can be achieved due to the interaction of a foreground server, a server supervising device and a background server, and the server monitoring and managing requirement can be realized through a simple database management server list method. The invention has the technical scheme that the status rewriting is carried out on a server status list in a database by a start point and an end point of the background server process respectively, so that not only can the monitoring efficiency be improved, but also the server conflict caused by the concurrent process can be avoided, and various kinds of servers can be monitored only by unitively managing time threshold values and setting alarm threshold values respectively by a monitoring end.
