Embodiment Construction

[0016] The invention provides a method for grafting greengage and peach, especially the following points:

[0017] 1) Choose spring and summer for grafting, preferably from April to July, and April to May is the best.

[0018] 2) The vertical height and lateral distance between each grafting cut on the rootstock are kept above 15-20cm;

[0019] 3) Select a two-year fruit peach vegetative branch with strong growth, good buds, and a length of 3 to 5 cm as the scion, and the incision of the scion is about 2 cm. Fruit peach can choose green peach, juicy peach, nectarine, flat peach and so on.

[0020] 4) rootstock incision is about 4~5cm, and scion is inserted in the otch of stock, and the cambium of the otch of scion and the cambium of stock otch are aligned, close;

[0021] 5) Set 3 to 5 iron nails around the incision of the rootstock, cover the iron nails around the incision with a protective film or plastic film, and tie them tightly to ensure that the incision is partially ...

Abstract

The invention provides a method for grafting fruit peach using green plum as stock. The method includes the steps of firstly, selecting spring and summer for grafting; secondly, keeping vertical height and transverse distance among grafting cuts on the stock at more than 15-20cm; thirdly, selecting a robust two-year-old fruit peach foliage branches which shoot well and are 3-5cm in length as scions with cuts of 2cm; fourthly, inserting the scions into stock cuts of 4-5cm to allow forming layers of scion cuts to align with and lean against with forming layers of stock cuts; fifthly, arranging three iron nails on the periphery of each stock cut, using protecting films or plastic films to cover on the iron nails, and tightening the protecting films or the plastic films to guarantee that the cuts are sealed. By the method, grafting survival rate is increased effectively, and survival rate of green plum with grafted fruit peach can reach more than 90%.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to plant grafting techniques, in particular to a method for grafting fruit peaches with greengage as rootstock. Background technique [0002] Grafting, one of the methods of artificial vegetative propagation of plants. That is to graft the branches or buds of one plant onto the stem or root of another plant, so that the two parts connected together grow into a complete plant. Grafting is carried out by utilizing the wound healing function of the plant. During grafting, the scion should be closely combined with the cambium of the rootstock to ensure the survival of the scion. The connected branches or buds are called scions, and the grafted plant body is called rootstock or platform wood. When scioning, seedlings with 2 to 4 buds are generally selected, which become the upper part or top of the plant after grafting; the rootstock becomes the root part of the plant after grafting. [0003] Greengage is an arbor of the family Dipt...
