Problems solved by technology

At present, farmers in Shandong and other places specially dig wild tassel bonsai to make tassel bonsai. Often because of improper digging methods, the old stump that has survived for hundreds of years will die due to the lack of root system, which not only destroys the original nature. The environment has also caused the depletion of big tree resources, which is a pity

Embodiment Construction

[0021] The present invention will be described in detail below in conjunction with specific embodiments.

[0022] 1) Use a small chisel to chisel a small equilateral triangle groove with a side length of about 1cm within the range of 10-30cm from the ground at the base of the tassel old pile, and the xylem can be seen;

[0023] 2) Select tassel seedlings with a ground diameter of about 2-3cm and an age of 3-4 years, remove all the twigs on the seedlings, and only keep the trunk; cut the top of the trunk of the seedlings into a wedge shape, and its width depends on the depth of the triangular groove on the old pile depends. The specific method is: cut off half of the side close to the triangular groove (front), cut off a part of the back and both sides (left and right sides), and finally flatten the top;

[0024] 3) Insert the wedge-shaped top of the cut tassel seedlings into the upper bark of the triangular groove cut at the base of the old pile, and fit closely with the old ...

Abstract

The invention discloses a rejuvenating method for an old chionanthus pile. The rejuvenating method for the old chionanthus pile comprises (1) chiseling a small triangular groove at a base portion of the old chionanthus pile until the xylem can be seen; (2) removing all small branches on a chionanthus plantlet, only reserving a trunk, cutting the top of the plantlet trunk to be wedge-shaped with the width which is determined according to the depth of the triangular groove which is formed in the old chionanthus pile; (3) inserting the cut wedge-shaped top of the chionanthus plantlet into the bark which is arranged on the upper portion of the triangular groove to be tightly attached to the old pile and guaranteeing the cambium is aligned; (4) coating consolidant at combining positions to promote regrowth and corrosion prevention and coating a layer of soil externally; (5) burying a root of the chionanthus plantlet and sufficiently watering the chionanthus plantlet. The rejuvenating method for the old chionanthus pile has the advantages of being high in rate of survival and wide in applicability and having no influences to stump appearance.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates, in particular, to a method for rejuvenating old fringe piles - the abutting and rejuvenating method. Background technique [0002] The tassel tree is a deciduous small tree or shrub, belonging to the family Oleaceae (Oleaceae) and the genus Chionanthus, which is a national second-class protected plant. Tassel is not only a precious green ornamental tree species unique to our country, but also a good material for making bonsai and an excellent rootstock for grafting sweet-scented osmanthus. Years of experiments have shown that using tassels as rootstocks to graft sweet osmanthus has good affinity, compact crown shape, drought and cold resistance, strong adaptability, and a life span of more than hundreds of years. At present, farmers in Shandong and other places specially dig wild tassel bonsai to make tassel bonsai. Often because of improper digging methods, the old stump that has survived for hundreds of years will die ...
