Embodiment Construction

[0018] see figure 1 , the multi-service signal fusion transmission system realized by photon frequency conversion technology in the present invention includes a single-mode laser, an optical splitter, and an N+1 optical bandpass filter 1, respectively denoted as 1A, 1B...1N+1; N frequency converters 2, respectively marked as 2A, 2B...2N; fiber coupler, EDFA, single-mode fiber, photodetector, radio frequency filter 3. It is characterized in that when the radio frequency signal enters the single-mode laser after coupling, the fused radio frequency signal is used as the driving current of the single-mode laser, and the direct modulation technology is adopted. The output end of the single-mode laser is connected to the input end of the optical splitter, and the output of the optical splitter The terminals are respectively connected to the optical bandpass filters 1A, 1B...1N+1, and the filters 1A, 1B...1N+1 respectively filter out the central optical carrier 5 and the sideband 6 l...

Abstract

A system and a method for transmitting a multi-service signal by utilizing a photon frequency conversion technology belong to the fiber optical communication technology. According to the system, harmonic waves which carry different service signals and are transmitted in an optical fiber are subjected to frequency conversion respectively through the frequency conversion technology, so that newly composed optical waves are obtained. Such the structure can separate optical harmonic waves which have relatively small frequency intervals and carry different radio frequency signals efficiently, so that the purpose of increasing the frequency intervals and reducing crosstalk among the signals can be realized. The characteristics of the system and the method for transmitting the multi-service signal by utilizing the photon frequency conversion technology are that: different from direct frequency conversion of common radio frequency signals and the functions of other photon frequency conversion systems, the multi-service signal is transmitted efficiently as a photon frequency converter is utilized for the frequency conversion of the optical waves; and the method for transmitting the multi-service combined signal through photon frequency conversion has the advantages of low crosstalk and easy implementation, and is suitable for access network transmission.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the field of optical fiber communication, and specifically relates to a system and method for transmitting multi-service signals by using photon frequency conversion technology, that is, a method for transmitting light waves loaded with different service signals by using photon frequency conversion technology to increase the frequency interval. Background technique [0002] In today's society, users' demand for network bandwidth is getting higher and higher, which puts forward higher requirements for the construction of large-capacity access networks. For network operators, their own expenditures for infrastructure construction, operation, and radio access network upgrades have increased significantly compared to the past, but their income has not caught up with the increase in costs. The greater bandwidth demand brought by the mobile Internet puts greater pressure on the construction cost of the wireless access network. In thi...
