[0031] Here will refer to figure 14 describes a vehicle seat 10 according to a first embodiment of the present invention. Arrows “Front” (FR), Arrow “Up” (UP) and Arrow “In” (IN) appropriately shown in each drawing indicate the front, the upper side, and the direction of the vehicle width direction of the vehicle on which the vehicle seat 10 is installed, respectively. inside. Unless otherwise specified, the front-rear direction and the up-down direction in the following description refer to the front-rear direction of the vehicle and the up-down direction of the vehicle, respectively. Also, unless otherwise specified, a front view is a view from the front of the vehicle seat, a plan view is a view from above of the vehicle seat, and a side view is a view from the side of the vehicle seat. Unless otherwise specified, the outer side in the vehicle width direction refers to the side closer to the outer portion in the vehicle width direction of the vehicle than to the inner por...

[0081] will refer to Figure 7 A vehicle seat 40 according to a second embodiment of the present invention is described. The configuration substantially similar to that of the first embodiment is assigned the same reference numerals as those used in the configuration of the first embodiment, and their description or illustration may not be repeated.

[0082] Figure 7 It is a side view schematically showing a deployed (operating) state of an occupant restraint system 41 constituting a vehicle seat 40 on which an occupant P sits. As shown, the vehicle seat 40 includes a pop-up duct 42 instead of the pop-up duct 18 that deploys to the same height as the headrest 16 of the first embodiment. The pop-up guide 42 is configured such that, in the deployed state, its upper end portion 42U abuts against the roof 44 of the vehicle body on which the vehicle seat 40 is mounted. Although not shown, pop-up duct 42 has a substantially inverted U shape in which upper ends of a pair of verti...

[0086] will refer to Figure 8 with Figure 9 A vehicle seat 50 according to a third embodiment of the present invention is described. Configurations substantially similar to those of the first embodiment are assigned the same reference numerals as used in the configuration of the first embodiment, and their descriptions or illustrations may not be repeated.

[0087] Figure 8 is to show the unfolded (operating) state of the occupant restraint system 51 constituting the vehicle seat 50 according to the third embodiment of the present invention and corresponds to figure 1 stereogram. As shown, the occupant restraint system 51 differs from that in the vehicle seat 10 according to the first embodiment in that the occupant restraint system 51 includes a side airbag device 52 in addition to the tension cloth 22 . The side airbag device 52 is configured as a so-called far side airbag device, which is provided in a side portion of the vehicle seat 50 on the inner side in the vehi...

Abstract

A vehicle seat (10)includes a projected member (18) that is accommodated in a seat back (14), and that is projected and deployed above the seat back (14) when inflated by a gas supply; a lateral deployment member (22) whose upper end side is connected to the projected member (18), whose lower end side is connected to a front end side of a seat cushion (12), and that is accommodated in a lateral side of the seat cushion (12) and a lateral side of the seat back (14); and a tension support member (26) whose one end side is supported by the seat back (14) in a portion separated from the lateral deployment member (22) in a seat width direction and whose other end side is connected to an upper end side of the lateral deployment member (22) or the projected member (18). The tension support member (26) is subject to the tension in the seat width direction at least when a seated passenger is restrained by the lateral deployment member (22).

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a vehicle seat. Background technique [0002] A technique has been known in which a seat belt is stretched from a shoulder portion of a seat back to a front end portion of a seat cushion, thereby suppressing movement of a seated occupant to one side of the vehicle when a side collision is predicted (for example, see Publication No. 2007 -008194 Japanese Patent Application (JP2007-008194A)). Another technique that has been known is that a seat belt is stretched from the upper end portion of the seat back to the front end portion of the seat cushion, thereby suppressing the movement of the side airbag to the outside in the vehicle width direction when a side collision occurs (see, for example, Publication No. 2009-029182 Japanese Patent Application (JP2009-029182A)). Furthermore, impact protection systems are already known in which a trapping net is deployed on the side of the occupant by means of a fastened seat belt which is ...
