The invention relates to a liquid purification system utilizing gravity potential energy and provides a liquid purification system which naturally converts a potential difference into kinetic energy. The liquid purification system comprises a first water pool, a second water pool, a flow guide pipeline of which one end is connected with the first water pool and at least one filtering separation membrane which is arranged in the flow guide pipeline, wherein the horizontal height of the second water pool is lower than that of the first water pool. With the adoption of the structure, after liquid to be purified is fed into the first water pool, the liquid penetrates through the flow guide pipeline and flows to the second water pool; when the liquid flows to the filtering separation membrane, the potential energy is converted into the kinetic energy so as to automatically generate power for flowing through to purify the liquid; therefore, the practical advancement of pollution-free and natural environment-friendly purification is realized.
