Abstract

A hospital and community interaction model building system based on system dynamics comprises a hospital in-treatment subsystem for simulating the number and flow direction of patients subjected to treatment in a hospital, a community in-treatment subsystem for simulating the number and flow direction of the patients subjected to treatment in a community, a hospital and community two-way referral subsystem for simulating mutual patient flows between the urban hospital and the community, and a hospital and community interaction human resource flow subsystem for simulating the flowing situations of urban hospital human resources and community hospital human resources. A system dynamic model of a public health service system is built through mutual influence, mutual constraint and interaction of input and output variables of four subsystems.
