Abstract

The invention provides an adjustment mechanism of a central console. A vehicle is provided with a center console extending longitudinally between two rear seats and two front seats and defining a cavity in which a container is disposed. An adjustment mechanism is disposed at the rear of the center console, and a panel is disposed above the center of the center console. The panel includes a proximal end connected to the adjustment mechanism and a rear end slidably supported by the center console. The panel is movable in a fore-aft direction between a front position above the container and a rear position for providing access to the container.
