The packet forwarding method comprises the following steps: a non-unicast Ethernet packet issued by CB (control bridge) equipment is received; an extended port serving as an egress port is searched according to the source ECID (E-Channel ID) of the non-unicast Ethernet packet; whether the extended port serving as the egress port has a aggregation relation with an extended port corresponding to the source ECID is judged according to the aggregation relation configuration information of the source ECID of the non-unicast Ethernet packet and the extended port of PE (port extender) equipment; if the aggregation relation exists, the extended port serving as the egress port is eliminated from a forwarding list. The problem about source elimination for the extended ports in an aggregation group among cross-user equipment can be solved.
