Abstract

The invention relates to a method for promoting cucumber growth in a continuous cropping field by employing a microbial organic fertilizer. The method comprises the following steps: (1) screening varieties, namely selecting high-quality cucumber variety which is wide in cultivated area, good in prematurity and strong in growth potential; (2) determining the concentration of an organic fertilizer, namely carrying out serial dilution on a dongshengbao (Chinese character) liquid organic fertilizer, determining the concentration of the liquid organic fertilizer to be 5*10<4>ppm according to the requirements of the cucumber on EC and pH of soil; (3) accelerating germination of cucumber, namely carrying out hot water treatment of cucumber seeds, and seeding after germinating; (4) applying an organic fertilizer, enclosing soil of the continuous cropping field in a greenhouse into 16 flowerpots for pot culture, fertilizing the microbial organic fertilizer with the concentration of 5*10<4>ppm into the flowerpot as a base fertilizer a week before field planting of cucumber seedlings; (5) transplanting the cucumber seedlings, when the cucumber seedlings grow into 4-5 leaves, transplanting the cucumber seedlings into 19cm*20cm of flowerpot; and (6) managing after transplanting, carrying out conventional management on the potted cucumber after transplanting, and ensuring cucumber growth at a preference temperature, wherein the temperature is 20-25 DEG C in daytime and the temperature is 15-20 DEG C at night.
