Abstract

Disclosed is an encapsulation method for a service routing packet. The method comprises: receiving a first packet, and determining that the next hop is a Legacy service processing entity (Legacy SPE); caching a correlation between an SFC header of the first packet and a first original packet, and sending the first original packet to the Legacy SPE; receiving a returned second original packet, and determining the SFC header of the first packet corresponding to the second original packet according to a mapping rule of the acquired original packet of the Legacy SPE; and encapsulating the SFC header of the first packet into the second original packet to form a new service routing packet.
