Embodiment Construction

[0013] An ultra-low frequency transcranial magnetic stimulator for treating chronic headaches includes a control circuit and a stimulating coil, and the control circuit controls the stimulating coil to emit magnetic fields of 1mHz, 7mHz and 13mHz.

[0014] Preferably, the strength of the magnetic field emitted by the ultra-low frequency transcranial magnetic stimulator is 300-1000 Gauss.

[0015] Preferably, the control circuit controls the stimulation coil to emit magnetic fields at 1mHz for 10-30min, 7mHz for 10-30min and 13mHz for 10-30min.

[0016] The technical solution of the present invention will be further described below in combination with experiments.

[0017] object

[0018] A total of 538 patients were included in the study and randomly divided into treatment group and sham stimulation group. The treatment group consisted of 300 cases, including 168 males and 132 females, aged 43.3±8.5 years, with an onset time of 6 months to 5 years, with an average of 18.6±6...

Abstract

The invention discloses an instrument for treating headache. The instrument is an ultralow-frequency transcranial magnetic stimulation instrument and comprises a control circuit and a stimulation coil. The control circuit makes the stimulation coil transmit magnetic fields with frequencies of 1mHz, 7mHz and 13mHz. According to the ultralow-frequency transcranial magnetic stimulation instrument, the magnetic fields with frequencies of 1mHz, 7mHz and 13mHz are applied on a brain, thereby reducing brain excitability, improving cerebral blood supply and relaxing tense muscles. Furthermore the instrument functions on a plurality of links of a pathogenesis of chronic headache and can remarkably alleviate headache of a patient. The effective rate of the instrument for treating the chronic headache is higher than 90% and is far higher than the effective rate (60%-70%) of a medicament. Furthermore no side effect is found.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a medical instrument, in particular to an instrument for treating chronic headache. Background technique [0002] Chronic headache generally recurs, which brings great pain to patients and affects their normal life and work. It is also the most common disease in neurology outpatient clinics. Its etiology and pathogenesis have not yet been fully understood. [0003] The mechanism of chronic headache mainly includes continuous constriction, spasm, ischemia and hypoxia of the muscles and fascia around the brain, chronic inflammatory response, and overexcitement of the central nervous system caused by mental stress and anxiety. At present, there is a lack of specific therapeutic drugs. Traditionally, muscle relaxants, anti-inflammatory painkillers, and antidepressant and anxiety drugs are used to relieve headaches. However, some patients have poor drug treatment effects, and drug treatment inevitably brings side effects. [0004] ...
