Abstract

The invention relates to a static security analysis double-layer parallel method based on a GPU-CUP heterogeneous computing platform. The method comprises the following steps: initializing data of a power system, and setting K anticipated faults according to actual demands; extracting n anticipated faults, wherein the n belongs to the K; allocating multiple groups of threads for the n anticipated faults by utilizing a GPU; carrying out load flow calculation for each thread group under each anticipated fault, wherein each group of threads comprise one iteration in multiple groups of load flow calculation; checking the convergence condition of each example after each iteration is over; and if the load flow calculation converges under a certain thread group, extracting the next new anticipated fault, and executing the load flow calculation until finishing all of the fault calculation. The algorithm can realize synchronous calculation of the plurality of anticipated faults in the single GPU, and can carry out parallel processing on computation tasks corresponding to the nodes of in the same layer of an elimination tree, thereby preventing waste of GPU computing resources and improving utilization efficiency of the GPU.
