Embodiment Construction

[0027] Such as figure 1 As shown, the steps of the dynamic matching method for maintaining connectivity in the multi-server DVE system of this embodiment include:

[0028]1) Before the operation of the multi-server DVE system, the two-dimensional space of the virtual environment of the multi-server DVE system is divided into multiple non-porous connected areas according to the number of servers, and each area is composed of square blocks with the same size , a block is the smallest unit of two-dimensional space migration between different servers in the load balancing process; a connected region means that all the blocks that make up the region can form a strongly connected subgraph, and for any two blocks in the region, both A path can be found in this area to connect the two blocks, and this path only includes the connecting lines in the horizontal and vertical directions, and does not include the oblique line at a 45-degree angle; the connected area without holes refers to ...

Abstract

The invention discloses a dynamic matching method for maintaining connectivity in a multiserver DVE (Distributed Virtual Environment) system. The dynamic matching method comprises the following steps: dividing a two-dimensional space of a virtual environment into a plurality of nonporous connected regions according to the quantity of servers in advance, wherein each region is composed of square blocks of the same size; respectively assigning the connected regions obtained by dividing to different servers; and during an operation period of the multiserver DVE system, periodically checking an own load condition by each server, wherein if the load exceeds a preset load threshold, then starting a dynamic matching process, selecting alternative migration blocks of an assigned region according to a region connectivity checking rule and a block satisfaction optimization principle, and transmitting corresponding blocks to a server which maintains adjacent regions according to a selection result. The dynamic matching method for maintaining the connectivity in the multiserver DVE system provided by the invention has the advantages of being fast in matching process speed, good in effect, capable of effectively guaranteeing connectivity of regions maintained by each server, capable of guaranteeing integrity elements of a virtual world of the multiserver DVE system, good in real user experience, and good in applicability.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a dynamic matching technology in a multi-server DVE system, in particular to a dynamic matching method for maintaining connectivity in a multi-server DVE system. Background technique [0002] Distributed Virtual Environment (DVE for short) system has been widely used in many fields such as online games, distance education and military training due to its advantages of low overhead, repeatability and security. With the continuous expansion of the user scale, the scalability problem of the system is becoming more and more serious. Therefore, the multi-server structure DVE system with high scalability has received extensive attention from the industry and academia. Such as figure 1 As shown, in an existing multi-server DVE system, the entire virtual environment system is jointly maintained by multiple servers (Server#1~Server#4) connected to each other through a high-speed Internet. Different from the DVE system with a single se...
