The file distribution method comprises the steps of receiving a file query request sent by the client and feeding back a file list to the client, wherein the file list at least comprises the identifier of a currently uploaded file, and the currently uploaded file is one or multiple file fragments and is uploaded by a file uploading terminal; receiving a file downloading request sent by the client, wherein the file downloading request comprises the identifier of a target file and the identifier of each file fragment; and when the target fragment appointed by the identifier of the file fragment in the target file is uploaded to a local memory, providing the target fragment to the client.
