The invention discloses a power line carrier communication load balancing network resource allocation algorithm, in sequence, comprising the following steps of (1), initializing network parameters; (2), judging whether new business accesses or not, performing a step (3) if the new business accesses, otherwise, repeating the step (1); (3), determining a whole network total load balancing index and a total utility function evaluation index when the new business accesses a network; (4), determining the number, types and bandwidth capacity demands of the newly accessing business within a load balancing period, and initializing to-be-balanced and network optimum configuration business number counters n=0; (5), calculating a whole network optimum configuration mode according to line and business distribution condition within the last load balancing period; and (6), judging whether all load balancing is finished within a current period or not, if not all load balancing is finished, repeating the step (4), and if all load balancing is finished, repeating the step (1). According to the method provided by the invention, the whole network business bearing capability and quality of service can be improved.
