Abstract

The present invention belongs to the field of feed antibacterial additives and particularly relates to a plant source domestic poultry feed antibacterial additive and a preparation method thereof. Thyme essential oil is used as a main antibacterial agent to prepare thyme essential oil nano-liposomes, epsilon-polylysine (epsilon-PL) having an antibacterial property is used to conduct a modificationof surfaces of the nano-liposomes, a freeze-drying method is used to transfer the thyme essential oil nano-liposomes into solid liposomes, then finally low-temperature plasmas are utilized to conducta surface treatment modification of the solid liposomes, and an antibacterial effect is further improved. The related plant source domestic poultry feed antibacterial additive is simple in preparation processes, good in product stability, uniform in particle size distribution, and relatively high in encapsulation efficiency and drug loading capacity, and has remarkable antibacterial effects on four commonly-occurring susceptible pathogens in domestic poultry.
