Abstract

The invention discloses a geofence generation method and device. The method comprises the following steps: receiving a plurality of coordinates in a coordinate list, wherein the plurality of coordinates comprise a current coordinate; determining a reference coordinate of the current coordinate; judging whether the distance between the current coordinate and the reference coordinate is larger thanor equal to an added distance, wherein the added distance is used for judging whether the current coordinate is determined as measurement of an add coordinate in the aspect of distance; if the distance is larger than or equal to the added distance, determining that the current coordinate is the add coordinate for forming a geofence; and generating the geofence by utilizing the determined add coordinate.
