The method comprises steps of generating a corresponding bar code for a built-in hardware series code SN of a POS terminal; and automatically comparing the generated bar code, a bar code on a package box of the POS terminal and a bar code on a housing of the POS terminal. According to the invention, through the generation technology of the built-in bar code of the POS terminal, by use of the MES system bar code reading technology, automatic comparison is performed through the MES system, so time is shortened;workload of manual comparison is reduced; possibility of manual errors is avoided; and production efficiency of a production line is further greatly improved.
