The system comprises a host computer, a battery information integrated management host, a data concentration module and a plurality of data acquisition modules. The data acquisition module is used for acquiring the individual voltage, the, the internal resistance, the charge and discharge current and temperature information ofa battery pack, and adjusting the voltage balance of the battery pack. The battery information integrated management host is electrically connected with the host computer and the data concentration module through a communication unit. The data concentration module interacts with the data acquisition modules successively. The battery online monitoring system and method replaces a battery insulationmonitoring device, uses new technology to monitor multiple states of the battery, and provides a battery monitoring function. The battery online monitoring system and method prolong the service lifeof the battery, saves the purchase fund of the battery, detect hidden dangers timely and reduce power loss. By means of the battery online monitoring system and method, it is no longer required to manually detect the internal resistance of the battery regularly and verify the capacity annually by operation and maintenance workers.
