The invention discloses a face recognition method. A to-be-determined region, a determined first face region, and a first non-face region except the first face region and the to-be-determined region in a standard image are obtained, wherein the to-be-determined region is a mixed region including a to-be-determined face region and a to-be-determined non-face region; according to a pre-defined rule,the to-be-determined face region is determined to obtain a target face region; and then face recognition is carried out based on the first face region and the target face region. Therefore, during the face recognition process, one part of face region and the to-be-determined region are extracted from the standard image, the other part of face region is extracted from the to-be-determined region,and then face recognition is carried out by combining information of the two parts of face regions, so that a problem that the face recognition accuracy is low when the face information in the mixed region is not extracted is solved. In addition, the invention also discloses a face recognition apparatus, equipment, and a readable storage medium, thereby realizing the same technical effects.
