Abstract

The invention discloses a composite interception system for runoff contaminants in a coastal zone of rivers and lakes. The composite interception system includes: a vegetation buffer zone, an underground water collection trench and underground cleaning pools. One side of the vegetation buffer zone is connected to a pollutant converging zone while the other side is connected to the underground water collection trench; the underground cleaning pools are arranged under the underground water collection trench at interval. The vegetation buffer zone can reduce flowing speed of surface runoff and intercept mud and sand in the runoff and absorb and eliminate related pollutants. The underground water collection trench and underground cleaning pools can merge surface flow and in-soil flow, which flow out from the vegetation buffer zone, so that the runoff contaminants are adsorbed and converted again. Through multiple layers of composite interception, adsorption, conversion, absorption and thelike from the vegetation buffer zone to the underground cleaning pools, water flowing into rivers and lakes is effectively purified by combining the technologies of a vegetation filtering zone and water centralized treatment technology and combining surface runoff interception and underground percolation purification. The system effectively reduces width of the vegetation buffer zone and saves land resources, and improves landscape effect of the coastal zone.
