Abstract

A vacuum cleaner is disclosed, including: a cleaner body; and a dust collector provided in the cleaner body. The dust collector includes: a first cyclone separator disposed inside the casing to filter impurities and dust from air introduced from the outside, and introduce the air from which impurities and dust have been filtered; a second cyclone separator, housed in the first cyclone to separate dust from the air introduced into the first cyclone; and a rotating member rotatably provided in the first cyclone at a lower side of the cyclone separator so as to define a first storage portion configured to collect foreign matter and dust filtered by the first cyclone separator between the housings. The rotating member is provided with a roller portion disposed to face a lower cover covering the lower opening of the casing, and contacts impurities and dust collected in the first storage portion during rotation of the rotating member, and applies a rotating force .
