Abstract

A medical ultrasound image denoising method based on bitonic filtering and a decomposition frame comprises the following steps: 1) decomposing the image through the decomposition frame; 2) constructing a rank filter; 3) carrying out morphological opening and close operations on C1 and C3 components; calculating and smoothing the opening and closing errors; 5) weighting and summing C1 and C3 components after opening and closing operation to obtain bitonic filtered components Crec1 and Crec3; 6) carrying out inverse transformation on that components Crec1 and Crec3 to obtain the final denoise image. The invention is compared with several algorithms in the denoising field through experimental analysis, and is effectively applied in the medical ultrasonic denoising field.
