Abstract

The conformal broadband circularly polarized capsule antenna comprises a metal member, a flexible dielectric substrate and a metal probe. The flexible dielectric substrate gets close to the inner wall of the capsule housing, and the metal member is conformally attached at one side, facing the inner side, of the flexible dielectric substrate. The metal member comprises a frame-shaped metal piece, a first metal strip and a second metal strip. The first metal strip is located in the frame of the frame- shaped metal piece, and one end of the first metal strip is connected with the frame-shaped metal piece. The second metal strip is located in the frame of the frame-shaped metal piece, and is separated from theframe-shaped metal piece and the first metal strip. One end of the metal probe is connected with the metal member, and the other end thereof passes through the flexible dielectric substrate to reach the back surface of the flexible dielectric substrate. The conformal broadband circularly polarized capsule antenna employs the first metal strip and the second metal strip to disturb the field insidethe antenna to allow the antenna has a good circular polarization performance and a wide circular polarization bandwidth so that receiving and sending of signal data are more reliable.
