Abstract

The invention provides a pen-type electrocoagulator for debridement and hemostasis on a wound of a paitent. The pen-type electrocoagulator comprises a housing, a power supply unit, a heating unit, anelectrotome unit and a suction unit, wherein the power supply unit comprises a battery disposed in the housing, the heating unit is electrically connected to the battery, the electrotome unit comprises an electrotome that is connected with the heating unit, the suction unit comprises a pipe and a suction port that is arranged around the electrotome, one end of the pipe is connected and communicates with the suction port and the other end of the pipe is connected and communicated to the outside. The battery provides energy, the heating unit uses the energy from the battery to generate heat, andthe electrotome head transfers the heat to the wound of the patient, thus clotting blood to achieve the purpose of hemostasis. The battery is built in the housing, without need for external power supply, and has modest size, therefore the pen-type electrocoagulator is small in volume, easy to carry, and suitable for being equipped in an emergency ambulance and a first aid kit for travelling.
