The invention discloses a 10-bromo-7H-benzo[c]carbazole preparation method. 10-bromo-7H-benzo[c]carbazole is prepared from 260g of 2-naphthol, 520g of hydrazine hydrate (80%), 500g of clear water, 750ml of methylbenzene, 100ml of concentrated hydrochloric acid, 164g of 2-naphthylhydrazine hydrochloride, 968ml of methanol, 91g of cyclohexanone, 250ml of cold methanol, 98.3g of 5,6,7,8-tetrahydro-3,4-benzocarbazole, 700ml of methylbenzene, 201.9g of DDQ, 200ml of ethyl alcohol, 65.1g of benzo[c]carbazole, 600ml of dichloromethane, 54g of NBS, 450ml of methylbenzene and 3g of activated carbon, and a plurality of four-neck reaction flasks are required. The method includes steps: subjecting 2-naphthol and two times of weight of hydrazine hydrate (80%) to reflux reaction for 20h, and treating with diluted hydrochloric acid to obtain 2-naphthylhydrazine hydrochloride.
