Embodiment Construction

[0027] In order to make those skilled in the art better understand the solutions of the present invention, the technical solutions of the present invention are further described below with reference to specific embodiments.

[0028] A method for reducing the sampling rate and sampling bandwidth of the ADC at the receiving end of the PON system, see appendix figure 2 :

[0029] At the transmitting end (that is, the optical line terminal OLT), the following steps are used for processing:

[0030] (1) Generate a baseband OFDM signal, and group all sub-carriers of the OFDM signal in each frequency band, such as figure 2 As shown in (II); preprocessing is required in the baseband signal generation process, and the preprocessing here is mainly to compensate for the spectral aliasing phenomenon caused by undersampling at the receiving end. Assuming that the channel response due to undersampling at the receiving end is H, then H*S=R, where S is the transmitted signal and R is the ...

Abstract

The invention discloses a method for reducing the ADC sampling rate and sampling bandwidth of a PON system receiving end, and the method comprises the steps: grouping all subcarriers of an OFDM signalin each frequency band at a transmitting end, and carrying out the preprocessing in a baseband signal generation process, so as to compensate a frequency spectrum aliasing phenomenon, caused by undersampling, of the receiving end; according to the method, subjecting the OFDM signals to up-conversion to different frequency bands, then supersoing the signals of different frequency bands together, and reducing the bandwidth of the OFDM signals of each frequency band in an up-conversion mode; at a receiving end, selecting OFDM signals of different frequency bands by controlling the frequency of alocal oscillator signal in an analog domain down-conversion mode, sending the OFDM signals to an analog-to-digital converter ADC to complete data sampling after low-pass filtering. Due to the fact that the bandwidth of the OFDM signals of each frequency band is narrow, the sampling bandwidth requirement of the ADC can be effectively reduced; ADC sampling is undersampling, the sampling rate is 1/Mof the Nyquist sampling rate, M is the grouping number, and the ADC sampling rate is reduced.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the field of optical communication, in particular to a method for reducing the sampling rate and sampling bandwidth of an ADC at a receiving end of a PON system. Background technique [0002] Driven by many new applications such as cloud computing, big data, and the Internet of Things, new services such as 4K video, virtual reality, smart home, and large-scale online interactive games continue to emerge, and the demand for information transmission bandwidth is growing at an explosive rate. Passive Optical Network (PON) has become the preferred technology for access network commercialization due to its good characteristics and low cost. A PON system consists of one Optical Line Terminal (OLT) on the operator side and multiple Optical Network Units (ONUs) on the user side. From the perspective of practical application, PON systems are very sensitive to cost, and it is necessary to strictly control costs to promote the practical ...
