Embodiment Construction

[0070] For the purpose of uniform nomenclature, the term "operator" will therefore be used, although in specific cases the term "user" is more common, e.g. "user management" when accessing IT systems.

[0071] Safeguard detection for unintended operations initiated by the operator of the MES system preferably includes the following events and / or categories.

[0072] 1 Log in that does not comply with the planned shift

[0073] Use the information pertaining to the shift schedule to verify that incoming logins are as expected. In this case refer to figure 1 , which shows two sites - SiteA, SiteB - on different continents. The aforementioned validation based solely on the static shift schedule is based on figure 1 Obviously not applicable in this situation. Not in all cases, but in some cases, log-in must be allowed outside of the time slots allowed according to the shift schedule.

[0074] This category alone "Logging not in accordance with the planned shift" does not al...

Abstract

The method for a safe guard detection of unexpected operations launched by an operator (Op-LA, Op-LB) for a Manufacturing Execution System (SiteA, LineA, LineB) is based on a first database containinga set of operations, a set of operators, calendar information for a shift (Shift Cal), calendar information for the equipment of an MES-System (Equip Cal);a second database containing a login historyof carried out logins of the operator (Op-LA, Op-LB, OP-Z, OP-M). The detection of a malicious operation is carried out whether the operation complies with a set of rules defining allowed operationsor with a learning module, in which specific roles of operators are contained and whether an operation complies with a specific role. In case of non-compliance, the operation is stored as an entry inan event trace file (EvTr) for generating alerts.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a method for safeguarding detection of unintended operations initiated by an operator of a Manufacturing Execution System. Background technique [0002] As defined by the Manufacturing Enterprise Solutions Association (MESA International Association http: / / www.mesa.org), a MES / MOM system "is a dynamic information system that facilitates the efficient execution of manufacturing operations." This is accomplished by "managing production runs from order release to manufacturing through product delivery to finished product" and by "providing mission-critical information about production activities to other parties across the organization and supply chain via two-way communication." Recently, the term Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM) has been increasingly used instead of the term MES. In this document, however, the term MES will be used and understood according to the two meanings cited above. [0003] In order to improve ...
