The method of the invention includes the steps of establishing an engine fuel consumption characteristic map according to the measured data of an engine; importing a gear optimal sequence of various cyclic working conditions solved in the first step into an AMEsim vehicle simulation model that has been built; printing the corresponding throttle opening and vehicle speed obtained in the second step and the gear data solved in the first step under the three cyclic working conditions into the same figure by using the MATLAB; building a gear-shift logic control module on an MATLAB/SIMLINK platform; formulating an economy based gear-shift schedule and a dynamic property based gear-shift schedule respectively according to the same vehicle parameters in Table 1 in the second step; and finally, performing optimization to obtain a gear-shift schedule curve that satisfies both the dynamic property and the fuel economy. The invention has the characteristics of simple structure, easy implementation, and strong practicability.
