One specific embodiment of the method comprises the steps that a preset conversation target and a preset knowledge graph are acquired, and the knowledge graph comprises at least two parts of knowledge; for reply statements in a preset reply statement set, obtaining a reply statement set, inputting the reply statement, the conversation preceding text, the conversation target and the at least two parts of knowledge into a pre-trained matching probability generation model, and generating a matching probabilityfor the reply statement, the matching probability generation model being used for generating matching probabilities between the conversation preceding text, the conversation target and the knowledge and the reply statement; sorting the reply statements in the reply statement set according to the generated matching probability; and according to the sorting result, selecting a target reply statementfrom the reply statement set and sending the target reply statement.
