Problems solved by technology

[0005] (1) During the NDN data communication process, the content publisher is only responsible for sending the data packet, and the content requester does not give feedback to the content publisher about whether the required data packet has been received correctly. The data packet transmission lacks a confirmation retransmission mechanism, and cannot Ensure the reliable transmission of data;
[0006] (2) In NDN, content blocks are used for data transmission. When large content blocks are transmitted in NDN, they will be divided into multiple data fragments and encapsulated into multiple data packets due to the maximum transmission unit MTU limit of routing nodes. Its MTU size determines the size of each data fragment. The division of data fragments does not comprehensively consider the data processing capabilities of all routing nodes on the forwarding path. Packets dropped due to link congestion
[0007] To sum up, the current NDN lacks a reliable transmission method that can realize data packet reception confirmation and a data fragmentation mechanism that can adapt to the data processing capability of routing nodes, which is used to realize the reasonable setting of the data fragmentation size in NDN, so as to avoid Link congestion, reduce data packet discarding, reduce data transmission delay, and realize reliable data transmission in NDN

Embodiment 1

[0097] This embodiment discusses the application of the byte number-based named data network data segment reliable transmission method in NDN communication.

[0098] This embodiment is based on the NDN named data network, and the network topology and node settings are as follows figure 1 As shown; in this embodiment, the NDN network includes 4 nodes, and the names of each node are "Node1", "Node2", "Node3", and "Node4", wherein node Node1 is the content requester, and node Node4 is the content release or; the NDN communication implementation of the method for reliable transmission of data fragments based on byte numbering according to the present invention is as follows:

[0099] Step I, the content publisher numbers each data content by byte, specifically as figure 2 shown, including the following steps:

[0100] In this embodiment, the NDN content publisher Node4 holds a data content, the name of this data content is " / Data1", the byte length of the data content is 10000,...

Abstract

The invention relates to a reliable transmission method for named data network data fragments based on byte numbers, and belongs to the technical field of computer network data transmission. The method comprises the following steps: a publisher numbers each item of data content according to bytes; a requester sends an inquiry interest packet and compares the maximum transmission unit MTU record minimum values of the forwarding nodes; the publisher replies the response data packet to inform the byte length, the starting byte number and the maximum transmission unit, wherein the request interestpacket sent by the requester comprises the name and byte number range of the data content to be acquired; the publisher encapsulates the data content of the corresponding byte into a content data packet and replies the content data packet to the requester; the requester waits for receiving the content data packet and prepares to retransmit the request interest packet; the requester receives and verifies the content data packet, and determines to retransmit the request interest packet or continuously request the subsequent content data packet according to the verification result; and the requester correctly receives the complete data content and then finishes data transmission. According to the method, reliable data transmission and link congestion avoidance are realized.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a reliable transmission method of data slices based on byte numbers in a named data network NDN (Named Data Networking), and belongs to the technical field of computer network data transmission. Background technique [0002] The named data network NDN retains the hourglass model of the TCP / IP network. The difference is that NDN replaces IP packets with content chunks. From the perspective of the network, NDN replaces the naming of physical entities with the naming of data content. The content of data exchanged by users is independent of location. Data packets in NDN are divided into two types: interest packets and data packets. Both interest packets and data packets contain a content name to identify the data content that the content requester wants to obtain or the data content of the data packet load. The data packet also contains the required The data content exchanged and the signature of the publisher of the content. NDN...
