The invention provides an equipment fault repairing method and a device, and the method comprises the steps: determining an equipment node corresponding to machine resource monitoring data when the machine resource monitoring data is received; acquiring a monitoring index type corresponding to the equipment node and an index threshold rule corresponding to the monitoring index type; obtaining target monitoring data matched with a monitoring index type from the machine resource monitoring data; comparing the target monitoring data with a threshold rule to judge whether the equipment node is inan abnormal state or not; if the equipment node is in the abnormal state, generating an alarm event corresponding to the abnormal state, judging whether the alarm event meets a preset alarm rule, andif yes, determining a target repair script corresponding to the alarm event; and generating an operation instruction according to the target repair script, and sending the operation instruction to theequipment node to trigger the equipment node to execute repair operation according to the operation instruction. By applying the method provided by the invention, the fault of the equipment can be quickly repaired.
