Abstract

The invention discloses a method and device for generating an area of interest (AOI), and relates to the technical field of computer vision. The specific embodiment of the method comprises the steps:conducting meshing processing on a geographic block where a target POI is located, and obtaining a grid set; in the grid set, obtaining a plurality of grids corresponding to at least a local area of apreset regular graph taking the target POI as a center; generating a feature map composed of feature vectors of the plurality of grids based on the specified features of the plurality of grids; and in the feature map, determining a local area, corresponding to the local feature map including the feature vector of the interest surface of the target POI, in the geographic block as the AOI of the target POI. According to the invention, the AOI can be automatically generated, and the problems of low efficiency and unstable effect caused by manual AOI determination are avoided. In addition, the candidate range of the AOI can be narrowed and determined by utilizing the preset regular graph, so that the accuracy of determining the AOI is improved.
