Abstract

In one aspect, the invention provides a remote transmission device (20) of a pressure transmitter (10). The remote transmission device comprises a measurement diaphragm (21) and a tube assembly (TA) comprising an outer tube (22) and a conduit (24)housed within the outer tube, the conduit being filled with a conductive fluid so as to transmit a physical quantity sensed by the measurement diaphragm (21) to a transmitter body (40) of the pressuretransmitter via the conductive fluid. The tube assembly is provided with a foam metal layer (26) located outside the conduit. According to the remote transmission device of the pressure transmitter,the upper limit and the lower limit of the application temperature (process temperature and environment temperature) range are improved. Moreover, the remote transmission device can improve the application temperature range under the condition that the size of an existing product is maintained or even reduced (the vibration problem caused by size increase is avoided), meanwhile, the weight of theremote transmission device is not affected, and the cost is reduced.
