Abstract

The invention discloses a broadband magnetoelectric dipole filtering antenna, which is characterized in that a pair of patches which are horizontally arranged and vertically grounded are respectivelyused as an electric dipole and a magnetic dipole, the edges of the horizontal patches and the vertical patches are connected to form a magnetoelectric dipole antenna, and a copper bar is folded into an inverted L shape and is arranged between short-circuit patches to form a feeder line; signals are transmitted to the feeders through SMA on the floor and coupled to the horizontal patch and the vertical patch; antenna impedance matching is enhanced by loading parallel branches between vertical parts of the feeders, so that relative bandwidth and passband edge selectivity are improved; a radiation zero point is introduced to an out-of-band high-frequency position by loading open circuit branches at vertical long ends of the feeders; the surface current flow direction of the patch is changed by forming the rectangular groove in the horizontal patch, and the radiation zero point is introduced at the out-of-band high frequency, so that higher harmonics are effectively suppressed, and the out-of-band suppression level of the antenna is enhanced. The out-of-band rejection level of the antenna is improved on the premise of ensuring a stable radiation pattern, wide bandwidth, low back lobe radiation and low cross polarization, so that the antenna is suitable for a modern wireless communication system.
