Abstract

The invention discloses a method for rapidly identifying water-saving drought resistance of wheat by utilizing a remote sensing vegetation index NDVI. The method comprises the following steps: a variety comparison test, acquisition of an NDVI value of a canopy after flowering, construction of an NDVI index, and calculation of an index for evaluating the water-saving drought resistance of the wheat variety based on NDVI related indexes. On the basis of drought resistance evaluation tests of different wheat varieties, canopy NDVI information of different varieties is obtained, indexes are constructed to replace a yield to calculate drought resistance indexes, and therefore a purpose of variety identification and selection is achieved. The new method overcomes the defects of time consumption and labor consumption of traditional yield measurement, and can quickly and nondestructively meet the requirements of drought resistance identification of wheat varieties. The method provided by the invention can be used for identifying the drought resistance of the wheat varieties and breeding new drought-resistant and water-saving varieties, and plays an important role in guaranteeing grain safety and meeting ever-increasing material requirements of people.
