The automatic image processing method comprises the steps of receiving to-be-processed image data; processing image data to be processed automatically to generate segmented image data, the automatic processing including: an encoding process including a plurality of sub-encoding processes, a central processing, and a decoding process including a plurality of sub-decoding processes, wherein except for output data of a previous stage of processing, other pre-processed output data is also provided to at least one of the plurality of sub-encoding processes and the central processing, and wherein sub-encoded output data having a sequence number not greater than a sequence number thereof is provided to at least one of the plurality of sub-decoding processes in addition to the output data of the preceding stage processing. Therefore, information loss can be reduced as much as possible, comprehensive utilization of multi-dimensional features is facilitated, and the image processing quality is improved.
