The method comprises the steps of enabling a transaction management platform to obtain first transaction information of a to-be-settled target financial transaction order pushed by a financial transaction platform, wherein the first transaction information comprises an identifier of the target financial transaction order, an identifier of a financial trusteeship platform corresponding to the target financial transaction order, and first transaction data of the target financial transaction order; according to the identifier of the target financial transaction order and the identifier of the financial trusteeship platform, obtaining second transaction information of the target financial transaction order from the financial trusteeship platform, wherein the second transaction information comprises second transaction data of the target financial transaction order; when the first transaction data and the second transaction data are the same, determining that the target financial transaction order passes verification; and sending a settlement instruction for instructing the financial trusteeship platform to perform settlement processing on the target financial transaction order to the financial trusteeship platform. According to the invention, the verification efficiency and the verification accuracy are improved.
