Abstract

An ion exchanger according to the present invention is provided with: a housing which has an inflow port and an outflow port; a tube member which is provided within the housing; and ion exchange resin which is arranged between the outer surface of the tube member and the inner surface of the housing. The ion exchanger is configured such that some of a coolant flowed into the housing through the inflow port flows directly to the outflow port, while some of the coolant flowed into the housing through the inflow port flows to the outflow port after passing through the ion exchange resin and the tube member. A first flow path and a second flow path are formed within the housing. The first flow path is configured so as to flow a coolant, which has flowed into the housing through the inflow port, directly to the outflow port. The second flow path is configured so as to flow some of the coolant, which has flowed into the housing through the inflow port and has subsequently passed through the ion exchange resin, toward the outflow port. The first flow path and the second flow path are formed so as to join with each other in such a state where the flow paths are directed in the same direction toward the outflow port.
