Abstract

The invention provides a volume measurement method. The method comprises the steps of receiving a first volume of a to-be-measured object; determining the flight height of the unmanned aerial vehicle according to the first volume, and sending the flight height to the unmanned aerial vehicle; receiving a detection distance sent by the sensor; judging whether the to-be-detected object reaches a preset position on a conveying mechanism or not; when the unmanned aerial vehicle arrives at the preset position, sending control information to the unmanned aerial vehicle, and controlling the unmanned aerial vehicle to shoot a to-be-detected object to obtain a to-be-processed image; receiving a to-be-processed image sent by the unmanned aerial vehicle; determining whether the to-be-detected object is a regular object according to the to-be-processed image; and when the to-be-measured object is an irregular object, complementing the irregular object as a regular object, and calculating a second volume of the to-be-measured object according to the complemented to-be-measured object. The invention also provides a volume measurement device, an edge server and a computer readable storage medium. The invention measures the volume of a regular object and estimates the volume of an irregular object.
