Abstract

The present invention relates to a method for performing measurements by a user equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system. Specifically, the method comprises the steps of: when uplink data transmission occurs in a measurement gap, determining a starting point of a temporary measurement gap based on a completion time of the uplink data transmission; transmitting information on the temporary measurement gap, the information including a starting point of the temporary measurement gap; transmitting uplink data during the measurement gap; and performing a measurement during the temporary measurement gap.
