To provide a bar-stock feeder by which the maximum number of parts can be machined from a piece of bar stock by sending and feeding a long bar stock to the end without any problem of vibration and noise. This bar-stock feeder is characterized by feeding the bar stock while pushing a bar-stock pushing member , which has a first step pushing member for pushing the bar stock W when the rear end of the bar stock is positioned at the rear of a tubular passage in a bar-stock processing machine, and a second step pushing member for pushing the bar stock W when the rear end of the bar stock W is positioned in the tubular passage. The first step pushing member has a retaining portion for receiving and retaining the rear end of the bar stock W, and the second step pushing member has an outer diameter smaller than an inner diameter of the tubular passage in the bar-stock processing machine and extends co-axially with a feeding axial line.
