Abstract

The system includes testing management module set at client end computer, load generation module and SMTP mail receiving process module. The testing management module controls full testing procedure, taking charges of setting test parameters, sending testing commands to load generation module and SMTP mail receiving process module, and collecting tested data from the said two modules and outputting tested data after statistical treatment. Load generation module creates communication flows of SMTP and POP3, transfers SMTP message to mail server and fetches mail of local mailbox from mail server under control of testing management module. SMTP mail receiving process module simulates SMTP service. Linux multi-threads programming technique, communication technique between processes and networking programming technique are adopted in the invention.
