Abstract

An adjustable overflow for setting into a trough-like container comprises a foot element having a base with a discharge opening, and a cylindrical pipe section having an axial through-opening connected to the discharge opening. A tubular adjustment element is rotary mounted on or in the pipe section. The pipe section comprises a first adjustment aperture and the adjustment element comprises a second adjustment aperture. The adjustment apertures are arranged in such a way that they overlap at least partially in a first angular position of the adjustment element relative to the pipe section, defining a (first) overflow level, whereas in a second angular position of the adjustment element the first and second adjustment apertures do not overlap and close the overflow.
