Abstract

An adhesive segment applicator apparatus (50) is provided for use with an adhesive segment (53) laden carrier release tape (5). The adhesive segment applicator (50) has an adhesive dispensing wheel (58) upon which a roll of adhesive segment carrier release tape (51) is mounted and a take-up core (62) system that prevents the adhesive segment-laden carrier release tape (51) from becoming loose or pulling away from the adhesive segment applicator apparatus (50) when an adhesive segment (53) is dispensed, in order easily to dispense an adhesive segment (53) to a surface (72).
