A display device includes: a plurality of light outputting elements; and a plurality of element controllers corresponding to the plurality of light outputting elements. In response to a predetermined signal provided to the plurality of element controllers at same timing, each of the plurality of element controllers supplies the light outputting element with pixel data included in image data that represents an image to be displayed by the display device, and controls an operating status of the light outputting element.
