Abstract

The invention discloses a backlight assembly comprising a lamphouse, a color sensing device, a plurality of point light sources, a control unit and a proliferation plate. The lamphouse has an opposite bottom and a light emitting cross-section. The color sensing device is configured at bottom and comprises a sensing component, a light attenuation component and at least a lens. The sensing component has a plurality of sensing blocks. The light attenuation component is configured on upper side of the sensing component. The lens is configured on upper side of the light attenuation component. The point light sources are distributed at bottom and correspond to these sensing blocks. The control unit is electrically connected to the point light sources and the sensing component. The proliferation plate is configured at the light-outputting section. The sensing component is applied to sensing a beam color of different areas from the point light sources to the proliferation plate and outputting an electric signal to the control unit. The control unit is applied to adjusting light emitting color of the point light sources corresponding to each sensing block according to the electric signal.
